With the war on waste being waged across the country, it’s never been a better time to join the fight and start saving the planet and money.

Did you know that each year, the Australian family uses over 400 metres of plastic wrap? And most of that isn’t recycled, so it ends up in landfill or in our oceans destroying marine life.

To reduce the amount of waste we are dumping on our earth and the needless spend from the household budget, companies like WRAPPA are coming to the rescue.

The wholly Australian owned company have created WRAPPA Reusable Food Wraps, which come in a range of funky designs and bright colours. They are an environmentally friendly alternative to plastic wrap and zip-lock bags.

Handcrafted here in South Australia using 100% cotton, either local filtered bees wax or plant based wax (so they’re vegan friendly), tree resin and jojoba oil, these super cool food wraps are a must for the household.

The warmth from your hands will mould the wrap into any form you wish so you can use them to cover sandwiches and other lunchbox items, wrap fruit and veggies and dairy, or create a seal around bowls, jars and plates.

These brightly coloured beauties can even be folded into cute little pockets to make instant snack bags.

WRAPPA Reusable Food Wraps come in three different sizes and have a lifespan of around 6 – 12 months. They’re easy to clean with a damp cloth and they fold flat so they’re easy to store.

You can wage your own war on waste and help the hip pocket at the same time by using and reusing a WRAPPA to seal your food and leftovers and keep them fresh.

Another cool use for the WRAPPA is to stop your cutting board from slipping on the bench, and you can also roll pastry or dough on top of them.
