The Wiggles exhibition has reopened at the Powerhouse Museum!

One of Sydney’s most popular children’s destinations since 2011, The Wiggles exhibition has recently been upgraded to make it better than ever, celebrating 25 years of bringing music, dance and joy to children and families around the world.  In addition to the old favourites – Dorothy the Dinosaur, Captain Feathersword, Wags the Dog, Henry the Octopus and the original Wiggles: Anthony, Geoff, Murray and Greg – visitors can now learn about the new and continued line up of the superstars Emma, Lachy, Simon and Anthony.  Your children will hear about seatbelt safety whilst riding in the Big Red Car and they can check out plenty of fun Wiggles memorabilia, including Lachy’s first teddy bear, a pair of Emma’s childhood ballet shoes and Captain Feathersword’s telescope.

“We are delighted that The Wiggles exhibition at the Powerhouse Museum has been so popular.  As new fans join the extended Wiggles family it is wonderful to be able to share and create new Wiggles memories with them.  We can’t wait to see the new experience,”  Blue Wiggle, Anthony Field.

The fund doesn’t stop with The Wiggles – The Powerhouse Museum is home to a unique and diverse collection that has a strong focus on creativity and curiosity.  We love The Lab, a permanent exhibition that is a hands-on, immersive multimedia space for you to explore and learn more about digital technologies, and Experimentations where you become the scientist, engineer, thinker, artist and inventor.  You will discover marvellous machines, great creative in the Tinkering Zone, get zapped in the electric chair and play with sound and light waves.

Entry to The Wiggles Exhibition is included in the standard price of museum entry:  Adults $15, children under 16 free, Student card holders $8

The Powerhouse Museum is located at 500 Harris Street, Ultimo and it is close to Darling Harbour, Chinatown and transport links.  It is a fantastic place to visit with very young children, with a change table in every toilet room and an excellent feeding room.
