Thanks to the City of Holdfast Bay and Jetty Road Glenelg, we gathered a group of ten of our She Shopped Product Testers for a night of fun and frivolity! Hosted by Lucy and Zoe from She Shopped in the Phil Hoffmann Travel Kitchen, the group spent the evening getting a taste of the good life. We broadcasted the whole evening on Facebook Live, meaning not only did we get to spend the night with ten wonderful women, but also our whole She Shopped community.

Thanks to Glenelg Health Foods we kicked off with a recipe tutorial – Peanut Butter and Chia Protein Balls. Lotus Pantry developed the recipe which you can find HERE. We couldn’t be more appreciative to David and his team from Glenelg Health Foods. He helped to make the night such a huge success. The family owned and operated business have been trading on Jetty Road for more than 20 years. Pay them a visit for a big range of health foods, supplements and foods such as – vegan pies & pasties and amazing raw treats.

With our protein balls in the fridge, next on the agenda was to try an Açai bowl from Bomdia Bowls. About 50% of the girls had not tried Açai, a berry found in the heart of the Amazon. Acai has developed a cult following for its superfood prowess. Acai retains an incredibly high concentration of antioxidants (2-3 times that of blueberries) and an array of other nutrients. There is nothing nasty either! Acai has no preservatives, colorings or anything artificial and is certified organic and certified Fair Trade. Our product testers absolutely loved the Açai bowls – a few of the testers let us know they had returned to Bomdia Bowls the very next day!

Thanks to the very generous Jetty Road Traders, along with the City of Holdfast Bay, each of the ladies left with a wonderful goodie bag and a few even scored an awesome door prize! Big gratitude to Phil Hoffmann Travel, Glenelg Health Foods, Bomdia Bowls Açaí Bar, Skin Things, Enve Hair and Make Up, GU Film House Glenelg, Cibo Espresso Glenelg, Inner Strength Pilates & Barre, Fassina Liquor Merchants – Glenelg, Haigh’s Chocolates and Bakers Delight Glenelg. You legends! And most of all a big thank you to our She Shopped Product Testers who came out on a Thursday night (and missed an episode of The Bachelorette) to spend the night with us! If you’re after a slice of the good life, get along to Jetty Road Glenelg.

The goodie bags, generously donated by Jetty Road traders.
