As we head into warmer weather, it’s a great time to get out and about and enjoy what our state has to offer.

Whether you have guests staying from interstate and you want to show off the hidden gems of Adelaide, or perhaps you just want a day out with friends and family. Whatever the occasion, why not do it in style at the Adelaide Hills Wine Race Day at Morphettville Race Course.

On Saturday December 9, six gorgeous wineries (The Lane, O’Leary Walker, Barristers Block, Sidewood, Mt Lofty Ranges Vineyard and Top Note) will be showcasing their wines on the Champagne Lawns at Morphettville while the excitement of the races happen right in front of you.

It’s only $5 entry for adults (with free entry for those under 18), which gets you a commemorative wine glass, entertainment from acoustic musicians and entry to the Champagne Lawns.

The Adelaide Hills Wine Race Day is a family friendly event with an enclosed area for children to enjoy pony rides, face painting, a petting zoo and even meet Santa!

The Champagne Lawns are open from 12-5 on Saturday December 9 and are set to be a wonderful day of racing, relaxing and a showcase of some of South Australia’s best wine.

The Adelaide Hills Wine Race Day is a chance to experience amazing Adelaide Hills Wines with your friends and family on the gorgeous lawns at Morphettville whilst enjoying the excitement of Adelaide’s horse racing.

So grab a new outfit, get a group of family and friends together and experience some great wines and the fun and exhilaration that come with being at the races.

Gates open at 11am for this glorious day at Morphettville and with tickets only $5 with kids free, you’d be mad to miss it.

You can bring a picnic to the outdoor area and enjoy some fun in the sun (being sun smart, of course), and laze on the lawns sipping on some of our state’s best wines and maybe even picking a winner or two!
