DONATING THE GIFT OF LIFE.
Repromed understands the struggles that many go through to become a parent. This is why their ‘Gift of Life – the Donor Program’ has been developed to assist people to fulfil their dreams of parenthood in a highly controlled and regulated environment.
Dr Lisa Bedson will be hosting a free seminar covering all the information you need to know about Repromed’s donor program, including how to access donor sperm, eggs and embryos, as well as recent changes to the SA Legislature and who’s name will appear on the child’s birth certificate.
This is an opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
Approximately one in six couples will be affected by infertility, and for many of these people, the ability become parents will only occur with the help of an egg, sperm or an embryo donor.
Repromed has the longest serving donor program in South Australia, where a third party donates eggs, sperm or embryos to be used by the recipient individual or couple to create a family.
There are four groups of people who may wish to use a donor program. Single women who choose to solo-parent, heterosexual couples where one or both partners may elect to use donor eggs or donor sperm, women in same-sex relationships who may wish to use donor sperm, and males in a same-sex relationship who may need to access an egg donor in addition to a surrogacy arrangement.
Repromed understands that the decision to start a family using donor gametes is considerable one, and that’s why they have a dedicated donor team to help with the process.
