FOR A SUSTAINABLE AND COST-EFFECTIVE SOLUTION, GO GREEN WITH RAA’S LATEST PRODUCT – SOLAR AND BATTERY STORAGE.
RAA now offers solar and battery storage for your home; there’s never been a better time to make the switch.
The RAA Solar system generates energy throughout the day. The batteries can store this energy for use in the evening. Your stored battery power can also be used as a backup in the event of a blackout.
By using and storing energy from your solar panels, a battery can provide additional savings on your electricity bill, compared to solar panels on their own.
There are many benefits to installing solar panels on your home. You will see a reduction in your electricity bills and, with the price of solar panels coming down, installation is more affordable than ever.
The RAA Solar Power system includes energy monitoring. By keeping an eye on your power usage, you can predict your energy bills and identify the times when you use the most electricity. You will also be alerted if the system fails or is not generating as expected.
Switching to solar reduces both your reliance on the grid and your carbon footprint, which is great news for the environment.
You will also enjoy the benefits of working with a well-established, reputable brand based right here in South Australia.
RAA is working with a South Australian installation partner, so it also means that all sales, services and support are handled in this state.
GOVERNMENT REBATES AND SUBSIDIES
The government currently supports the installation of residential solar PV systems and battery storage by making available the following rebates and subsidies:
SMALL-SCALE TECHNOLOGY CREDIT (STC)
These credits are calculated according to the wattage rating of your solar panels and can be used to subsidise the purchase price of your package.
The more watts the higher the rebate.
When calculating your solar and battery storage package prices RAA includes the benefit of any STC’s, to help reduce the upfront price you need to pay.
SA GOVERNMENT HOME BATTERY SCHEME
The SA government has created a $100 million, 40,000 home subsidy scheme to help with cost of installing home battery storage.
Certain eligibility criteria apply but RAA can help with this.
The scheme is linked to the available discharge capacity of the battery.
Subject to meeting the eligibility criteria, if you are a concession holder you may be entitled to a $600 per kilowatt hour (kWh) subsidy and all other households you may be entitled to $500 per kilowatt hour (kWh) subsidy, capped at a maximum of $6,000.
When calculating your solar and battery storage package price RAA includes the benefit of any the Home Battery Scheme Rebate.
RAA offers a range of packages to suit everyone’s requirements. RAA member are entitled to a discount.
