For me Mother’s Day is a time to slow down and focus on the things that matter. My eldest son Ed, taught me that being a mother is a treasured gift – not a given. Ten years after he was born critically ill with congenital heart disease I am grateful for the chance I have been given to be a mum…now three times over!
