Products and services available for people under 25 living with a disability
KYD-X is back for another year and it’s bigger than ever.
With over 125 exhibitors, the Kids and Youth Disability Expo focuses on products and services available for people under 25 living with a disability.
For one day only on Saturday October 13 at Priceline Stadium Mile End, the latest in disability services will be on display for only a gold coin donation.
KYD-X is a great opportunity for families and individuals living with a disability to meet and network, but it’s also an excellent chance for providers to showcase services and products they provide to the disability sector.
That way, individuals, families and carers can make informed choices about the equipment, therapies and treatments available to them to maximise the impact of their NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) funding.
Starting at 10am and running until 4pm, KYD-X will feature a wide range of service providers both registered under the NDIS and non-registered providers.
The expo was imagined into life by Founder and Managing Director Ben Waechter who found the system that was supposed to help his child more efficiently and effectively was not doing that.
He and his family researched therapies and treatments but found most information and advice came from other parents, neighbours and friends.
There was not enough information easily available for the general public, so he set about creating KYD-X so families and individuals could see what was on offer to them and make informed choices.
Now in its third year, KYD-X is making a huge difference to people living with disability, as well as the providers who want to make their products and services known to the public.
KYD-X is one day only so head along to Priceline Stadium, Mile End, between 10am and 4pm on Saturday October 13
