Top tips for Christmas shopping on King William Road.
Christmas shopping should never feel like a chore. So, Zoe and I decided to make a summer day of it! We found so many unique, quality gifts to fill our shopping bags and wanted to share our finds with you! Here are our top tips for a successful, enjoyable, Christmas shopping spree.
Shop at a precinct where you know there is a huge variety of stores catering for young and old. The iconic King William Road shopping precinct was the ideal location to shop it all and shop it in style. We started with Flourish Gift and Home. It’s just one of those ‘something for everyone’ stores, specialising in some Australian made beauties like the La La Land jigsaw puzzle.
When in doubt visit a book store. We could truly have spent an hour perusing Dymocks. I found the perfect holiday read for the hubby and Zoe shopped board books for her niece.
It’s just not Christmas without the décor and ultimate table setting. I stocked up at entertainer’s delight Wheel and Barrow to prepare for the honour of hosting Christmas lunch this year whilst Zoe nabbed herself a stunning wreath for the front door.
Plan for a pit stop. At St. Louis House of Fine Ice Cream and Dessert we refuelled on coffee, cake AND ice cream. It’s Christmas and that should be explanation enough!
If you think your furry friend hasn’t noticed the stockings on the mantel, think again. No Christmas morning is complete until Zoe’s beloved Sir Digby and my entourage of pampered paw friends have received their treats and accessories from new addition to King William Road, Olly and Rita’s Luxury Pet Products.
One for under the tree and one just for me. Oscar and Willow is the home maker’s ultimate temptation, thus not everything purchased was on the gift list (oops). The Bondi Wash range makes the perfect gift for you (from you) and for your loved ones, as do their stunning ‘Menu’ salt & pepper grinders.
So, grab girlfriend or loved one, and mix business with pleasure along Adelaide’s most charming shopping precinct! Let King William Road take care of your to do list, taste buds and Christmas styling this year.
