Here at She Shopped, we are always up for a retail challenge – after all we are experts at the art of shopping – so when we were asked to head to Harbour Town Adelaide to unlock some outlet secrets, we sent our founder, Lucy Cornes, to find out if you really need to pay retail for the latest in designer fashion.
Lucy kicked off her shopping tour at BNKR –where leading labels like C/MEO Collective, Finders Keepers, Keepsake and The Fifth grace the racks. She picked up the classic C/MEO Collective Breakaway Dress for $100, reduced from $219.95.
Next stop was Mimco – one of Australia’s most coveted brands. There was so much to choose from, including clutches, accessories, shoes, jewellery and headwear, but Lucy couldn’t leave without snapping up the Catalyst Pouche in fresh white for summer. Incredibly the timeless bag retails for $499 and Lucy shopped it for $149.
Just when we thought Harbour Town Adelaide couldn’t get any better with its offering of designer brands, Witchery has arrived – hurrah! Australia’s leading fashion label now occupies a large space at the Woolworths end of the centre and every rack is filled with inspired designs. Lucy grabbed a super cute summer dress for $39.95 and a fedora for $39.95 a total saving of $95.00.
If you want to also shop for him and the kids and are keen to save you’re in luck – we found incredible outlet savings at Bonds, OXFORD and Converse. Lucy was keen to shop and outfit for her new niece and Seed delivered the goods – the adorable Sunshine Skirt only got cuter when she was able to shop it for $29.95, reduced from $59.95.
The proof is in Lucy’s haul – you can shop designer fashion at heavily reduced outlet prices, every day at Harbour Town Adelaide.
