Finding healthy, fresh ideas to amuse the kids over summer can seem like a task, but Colonnades have the perfect solution for you and your offspring!

If you’re anything like us, a few weeks into the school holidays, you’re desperately seeking great new ideas and events for your kids.

Well, we’re here to alleviate some of the stress of searching for stuff to do and to let you know about what’s going on down at Colonnades.

Summer in the Market is a fun range of activities for families which are exciting, entertaining and educational (but don’t worry, they’ll be having so much fun they won’t even know they’re learning!).

From January through to February, Colonnades’ Fresh Food Market will play host to some fantastic family fun days and activities.

From face painting to summer specials, cooking classes and live music, Colonnades is making summer sizzle with a whole lot of cool things to do.

Get the kids in the kitchen a cooking class especially for children hosted by Sprout cooking school. From Wednesday January 17 to Friday January 19, your young ones can cook up a storm and learn valuable life skills (and maybe even give you a break from making dinner. Everybody wins!).

On Thursday 25th January, Colonnades Fresh Food market will be offering some awesome Australia Day and back to school themed activities, including face painting and fun, to get you ready and raring for the school year.

And the fun doesn’t stop when we are back into the swing of school either. Get over to Colonnades for the first few weekends of February for live music, face painting and fabulous summer markets specials.

Those first weeks of the new school year needn’t be a drag when you can head to the Fresh Food Market and get down to music and market specials.

Beat the heat this summer and find some fresh ideas for you and the kids at Colonnades’ Fresh Food Market. For more information visit the Colonnades What’s on Page.
