We’re Going on a Bear Hunt comes to Adelaide Festival Centre ~ 27th to 29th April, 2017
We’re Going on a Bear Hunt “… quite simply the best family show I’ve seen” – UK Sky Arts
Written by Michael Rosen and illustrated by Helen Oxenbury, the beloved children’s book ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ is bought to life on stage in this wonderful production, direct from the UK. Join the show’s intrepid family of adventurers and their musical dog through the swishy swashy grass, the splishy splashy river and the squelchy mud, all in search of a bear! The show features music, laughter, songs, rhythms, rhymes and repetitions; with puppetry, paints and water. Oh, and don’t forget the bear!!
Presented in Adelaide for the first time as part of the Adelaide Festival Centre’s Something on Saturday 40th Anniversary celebratory programme, ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ has enjoyed a smash-hit international tour and sold out seasons in Brisbane, Melbourne and the Sydney Opera House. It is the perfect theatrical outing for any young family with children aged 3 and above, with an ideal timing for April school holidays fun.
